Obtaining a 24 hour passport renewal can be a stress filled task. The need for this kind of urgent expediting of a travel document ordinarily suggests you have an imminent travel date. The facts below will provide you with two options for acquiring your USA passport renewal in 24 hours.
Renew Passport in 24 Hours at a Regional Agency
The initial step to obtaining express passport renewals at a regional passport processing center is to set up an appointment. Contact the National Passport Information Center which maintains an computerized appointment system at 1-877-487-2778. Quite often, it can be hard to make contact so be willing to attempt a lot of times.
What do you do if you can’t connect or there is no appointment available when you require it? You can try just showing up at the regional processing center closest to your area without one. While the State Department says you should make an appointment, applicants with a genuine emergency are rarely, if ever, refused access.
What is required for expediting a passport renewal? You are required to present a completed passport form DS-82, your most current passport and two passport photographs that are no more than six months old. If your name has changed since your last passport was issued, you will also be required to submit legal proof of this..
You will not have a confirmation number if you do not have an appointment. Hence, you will be required to produce your Social Security card. it is important that you also take proof of your travel date to prove your need for expedited passport renewal.
The overall charge for emergency passport renewal is $135. This includes an application fee of $75 and an expedited service fee of $60. Payment should be made by personal check, money order or bank draft. Make your payment payable to the U.S. Department of State. You should get your renewed passport either the same day or the day after.
Renew Passport in 24 Hours via a Qualified Expediting Service
What can be done if you are unable to personally visit a regional passport agency? This option entails authorizing a passport expediting service to submit the form for expedited passport renewal for you. Given that experienced expediters are usually found in the same cities as the regional passport processing agencies and registered with them, it is a valid way to get your passport expedited.
To start this process, you first have to decide on the expediter that you want to use and fill out their online application form. Next, you need to send the completed passport renewal application form and the supporting documents. You are encouraged to use a two-way overnight mailing method that is traceable. Additionally, you should utilize a secure envelope that will preserve the contents from the elements.
Though these passport and visa expediters can get the passport renewal as fast as one day, you must take into account mail delivery time if you choose this method. Keep in mind, traveling to a regional processing center may cost you a lot of time, especially if you do not reside near one.
The service fees for expedited passport renewals via a experienced expediter vary. You should expect the amount to be somewhere between $65 for passport renewals expedited in 2 weeks to about $299 for applications expedited the same day. This is in addition to the fees paid to the Department of State.
High quality expediters can be really expensive and you can save money if you present the application form yourself. When you are unable to get to a regional agency and you face the risk of being forced to cancel your travel plans, permitting a qualified expediter to present your application form for passport renewal in 24 hours could be a very intelligent decision.

Sapphire Studios in London is a good place to have a photoshoot. Some people say that the golden age of Hollywood was during the 1940s and 50s, while others like to go back even earlier and others still place it in the 70s. The truth is that Hollywood cranks out golden ages each decade with new innovations and new stars. The only constant within Hollywood comes in the form of celebrity and the public desire to know that celebrity.
The 30s faced the Talkies and the growth of the studio system; the 40s saw the beginnings of Film Noir; in the 50s epic films came into fashion while Hollywood met the competition of television. The Hollywood studio system as it had been known ended in the 60s and the era of underground, independent cinema was born. Some have called the 70s “the last golden age” with the American “new wave,” but it was also the decade given credit for the “blockbuster” film. Teen-oriented films were king (and queen) during the 80s which also saw the birth of the sequel.
Finally the 90s watched as computer-generated films took the stage at the same time “indie” cinema became a household word. The 90s also witnessed the increase of remakes, re-releases and even more sequels as Hollywood fought for its piece of the newly created digital pie.
Throughout all these decades the constant was the image, those movie star photos that we know and love. And just as film styles changed over the decades, the movie still also evolved. The perfect poses of the 30s, 40s and 50s faced the turbulent 60s, 70s and 80s and the birth of the hated and loved; paparazzi.
The “buzzing insects” or paparazzi were introduced to the American public by Time magazine during an article about the film “La Vita Dolce” by Fellini in 1960. These flash firing freelancers were stalking incriminating movie star photos and have only grown in numbers since then.
One of the favourite gathering spots for paparazzi are the many red carpet events in and around the world with Hollywood being ground zero. But your favourite movie star photos are not limited to the static studio poses nor the often embarrassing angles brought home by the paparazzi. There is another option.
Out there on the red carpet are a few photographers that would throw their camera at you if you called them paparazzi. These photographers combine the best of both worlds, the live “in the moment” feel of the red carpet with the soul searching intimacy of the best studio photograph.
These photographers actually look through the viewfinder of their cameras, searching and waiting for those perfect moments that create the best movie star photos. The average red carpet event might bring to mind the shock and awe of flashes going off all around at digital speed, but deep inside the pack of buzzing insects wait the artists.
In the world of the red carpet, great movie star photos are created not simply snapped. It is in these moments that the movie star fan glimpses the truth, a small truth about their favourite star or a new angle they had never seen before. The stars are people too, something the true fan never forgets and always wants to see.
The moments are fleeting, like life itself and each moment tells a story. The digital camera has made the point and shoot the order of the day. Take lots of photos and sort them out later. But to truly capture the essence of an actor on the red carpet requires an artists eye and a hunters patience.
Celebrity photos continue to dominate the media. The current aim of celebrity photography unfortunately leans more and more towards the exploitive, paparazzi style that flatters few and gives little insight to the actors person. Movie star photos that show us the person behind the star are few, but do exist and will continue to as long as there are fans that want to know a little more about their favourite stars.
Want to see what an artistically candid celebrity photo looks like? Love the movie stars of the 1990s? Click now to see a beautiful collection of black and white and color photos taken during the 90s on the red carpets all around Hollywood.

Halloween, for me, is one of the special days of the year. Still, Halloween is not like Christmas or Valentines day. At Christmas and Valentines, we celebrate Jesus and the saints. Halloween is different from the rest. On this day, we remember our loved ones who have gone before us. Sounds scary, right? Not really, for the celebration of Halloween is really fun.
Halloween, which falls on October 31, is oftentimes confused with All Saints day, which falls on the first day of November. In the 16th century is where the word Halloween was first manifested. It represents a variant of the fuller Scottish term “All-Hallows-Eve”, which is the night before All Hallows Day.
Halloween is celebrated around the world in many ways nowadays. However, not all people celebrate it, but for those who does, its traditions and importance varies greatly. Because it can often be seen particularly in iconic and commercial events, other nations tend to follow the American way of celebrating Halloween.
Halloween is sometimes celebrated, especially in the United States, by parties which participants will attend wearing different kinds of costumes. The costumes are often like ghost, witch, ghouls but recently more costumes are being used such as characters from TV series, Pirates of the Caribbean Costumes, space-themed costumes, and much more. As for the kids, they celebrate Halloween through Trick-or-Treating. Children of all ages wear different kinds of costume and then go door-to-door asking each homeowner for candies by shouting “Trick-or-Treat”. If they do not oblige, the children will perform a “trick” to the homeowner, which is usually a mischievous but harmless prank. Many people love this part of Halloween, as they enjoy seeing children of all ages wear Pirates of the Caribbean Costumes or something and smile to them when they open their door, but still there are individuals who does not enjoy this practice and views the children as a nuisance.
As for me, the celebration of Halloween is rarely noticed here in the Philippines, although lately Halloween is being celebrated in some places. When I was a kid, we did not experience Trick-or-Treating, for at that time we did not know what it is. But, in my elementary days, we would usually plan a costume party for the Halloweens, although at times it does not exactly fall on the day of Halloween. Instead of wearing uniforms, we would go to school wearing costumes. We would still have classes, but we would only take our exams and quizzes and then the teachers will end the classes early, after which we will have our party. These days, I see little kids wearing costumes (but more often in their casual clothes), asking for treats and candies at each house. But you can see that their costumes are just improvised. For example, a boy will wear a “barong” and put lots of powder in his face making him a zombie or a little girl wearing a gown which will make her pass as a princess. Character costumes are very rare here, so I do not see kids wearing Pirates of the Caribbean Costumes. But at least the Halloween spirit is there. But still, like in the other countries, it’s a lot of fun to watch!
Halloween is really a fun celebration, although there is a deep meaning behind the celebration. This celebration actually teaches us lessons about death and mortality. We should value our own lives, for once it’s lost, it’s gone forever. And also, we should enjoy our lives to the fullest, for it only comes ones.
Have a great fun Halloween!
